Alko Cable Cover Plate – Trailer Detachable Brake Cable Half Shell
Our Part No. BKCCA
Manufacturer’s Part No. 371387
Designed for use on the following Alko Trailer Brakes;
– 160mm x 37mm
– 200mm x 51mm
– 200mm x 35mm
– 230mm x 61mm
This is for 1x half shell, the other half would usually be welded onto the backplate.
Only Trailers which use Alko Detachable brake cables will have these cover plates.
The cable fits into the eyelet on the backplate.
This half shell then clasps over the cable to meet the half already welded on to the backplate.
The two shell halves are then secured together by the cup on the brake cable, which slides over the top of the shells.
You would not find these cable cover plates on a braking system which uses Fixed Eye cables.
Please be sure to check the style of your cable before purchasing; see image further down the page.
