4 Inch Trailer Hub – Unbraked 4 Inch PCD Taper Roller Bearings 1 Inch Shaft

Designed for use on Trailer Suspension with a 1″ diameter shaft only.
This Hub has a 4″ PCD measurement, this is denoted by the grease nipple found on the nose of the hub.
Hub Depth – 67mm.
Please Note – This hub is designed for Trailers with a maximum gross weight of 750kg.
Most commonly used with the following wheel and tyre assemblies;
400×8 Tyre 4″ PCD
500×10 Tyre 4″ PCD
145/80R10 Tyre 4″ PCD
16.5/6.5 Flotation Tyre 4″ PCD
20.5/8.0 Flotation Tyre 4″ PCD
This Hub can also be used on re-claimed Mini Car Wheels, but they must have the following;
1- A small cut out on the centre hole for a grease nipple
2- 66mm diameter centre hole on the rim
3- Suspension with extended stub axles to suit the Mini offset

The wheel hub also uses 3/8″ Wheel Nuts and Studs.
A 50mm Hub Cap us also included with this Hub (This is supplied metal or plastic, depending on stock).
The Outer Races of the Bearings come already pressed into the hub.

Fitting these bearings –
- Firstly, start by thoroughly greasing the inner bearing. Use your hand for best results.
- Next, slide the bearing onto the shaft making sure it is firmly pushed back. At this point be sure that the black seal is facing inwards.
- Then, grease the inside of the hub and the outer bearing.
- Re insert the outer bearing into the drum, tapered edge facing outwards
- Finally, slide the drum onto the shaft.
