Light Duty Jockey wheels

The lighter duty jockey wheels we offer are suitable for small single axle trailers. Our recommendation is to use on single axle trailers upto 750kg. Due to the lighter construction these jockey wheels may fail if fitted to heavier trailers.

This range includes all 34mm jockey wheels and the lighter 42 and 48mm smooth Jockey wheels.

Suitable trailers include Camping trailers, Motorcycle trailers, Gardening trailers and Small trailers for lighter boats and water craft.

Medium Duty Jockey wheels

Our Medium Duty Jockey wheels are suitable for trailers upto 2700kg. Our recommendation is to not used on trailers with more than 2 axles.

We also recommend not using for manoeuvring fully loaded trailers with 2 axles because this results in excessive nose weight.

Whilst most of these jockey wheels are are suitable for lifting a loaded twin axle trailer off a towbar. This range therefore includes stronger 42 and 48mm smooth Jockey wheels

Heavy Duty Jockey wheels

We recommend ribbed / serrated Jockey wheels as heavy duty. They can carry better nose weights due to the grip of the serrations.

The serrations lock into the the clamp stopping the jockey wheel from sliding in the clamp.

Most 48mm ribbed jockey wheels are suitable for 3500kg trailers.
